Two Reviews

Since we are now wading into Dawkins’ The God Delusion, it would be helpful to look at a few book reviews. While there are many book reviews available, the following two are among the most frequently cited.

The Dawkins Confusion: Naturalism ad absurdum,” by Alvin Plantinga, a well-respected philosopher at Notre Dame. This review deals at length with Chapter 3 of Dawkins’ book (“Why There Almost Certainly is No God”).

Lunging, Flailing, Mispunching,” by Terry Eagleton, a well-known literary theorist and professor of English Literature (Oxford, University of Manchester). This review is particularly trenchant.
